Transferring calls
Even though it is a basic option, "transferring calls" is a key reason a business needs a phone system. It's important that you and your staff can transfer incoming calls to the right person easily and efficiently.
Reception switchboard
Even if your company does not have a receptionist, you must select at least one handset, as it will also be used to do programming. In cases where there is no receptionist, the handset may be allocated to any staff member as an extension handset.
With each switchboard handset, you will also automatically be supplied with sufficient key (DSS) panels.These panels will ensure your receptionist is able to see the busy status all the extensions within the company at a glance, allowing her to immediately inform callers whether a staff member is on a call at the given time.

Executive handsets
These digital handsets, similar in design to the main switchboard are more expensive compared to standard handsets, so we advise that they only be allocated to Directors or Key staff who require feature rich functionality.

Cordless handsets (DECT handsets)
There are two types of DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephony or cordless solutions. The standard option is a cordless telephone connected to a telephone extension, which gives a talking radius of around 50m indoors and 200m outdoors from the users workstation. The second is a solution comprising of base stations or repeaters which are installed around the clients premises which extends the reception of the cordless phone and allow one the mobility to use their cordless handset around the entire premises as long as they are in the range of a base station.
Cordless handsets (Standard)
These handsets are great for allowing one mobility to walk around the office while on a telephone call, or to be able to answer and make calls when away from your desk. There are two basic models available; one without a speaker, and one with a speaker.
It is possible to use a cordless handset in combination with any other handset; such as an executive or even the main switchboard. (The cordless telephone handset will however take up an additional analogue extension point).
Main features:
Radius of approximately 50m indoors and 200m outdoors. This radius is however significantly reduced depending on the amount of steel and thickness of the walls in the building.
Speed dial keys for frequently dialed internal and external numbers.
Name and number phonebook to store the name and telephone numbers of your more frequently dialed contacts.

Standard extension handsets
These are your standard and affordable analogue extension handsets.
Here again, there are two basic models available; one without a speaker, and one with a speaker.
